All the associations involved are from the three regional branches of hockey operations in Ontario that include the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), Hockey Northwestern Ontario (HNO) and Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO). The OHF is the largest and has a team from each of the following leagues: Alliance, Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), Northern Ontario Hockey League (NOHL), Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) and Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA). The champion from each of these leagues along with the championship team from the HNO and HEO, along with the host team will compete at the All Ontario Peewee AAA Championship to determine the best team in all of Ontario.
